What the game stores on your device
Your player name, character, optional selfie or photo, rating, language, and notification preference stay in local storage on this device. Photos are not uploaded to our servers.
Camera and photos
The camera and photo picker are optional. They are used only so you can put a face in the helmet. The image never leaves the device.
Notifications
If you turn notifications on, the app may send a local reminder to practice. We do not send marketing push from a server.
Analytics
To understand how the game is used and to fix crashes we use:
- Google Analytics (GA4)
- Yandex Metrica
- PostHog (events; session replay on the website only, not in the Play Store app)
These tools may collect approximate region, device/browser type, pages or screens opened, button taps (for example Play), and performance/error data. We do not use this to sell ads, and we do not sell personal information.
Internet
A connection is used for analytics, fonts, and optional online features. The core word game runs from files packaged in the app or cached by the site.
Children
Vocabulary Game is a general-audience word game. We do not knowingly collect contact details from children. Do not type a real email, phone number, or full address into the name field.
Your choices
You can clear site data in the browser, or delete the Android app, to remove local profile data. You can also use platform settings to revoke camera or notification permission.
